摘要
进入21世纪,我国博物馆数量快速增长,发展势头良好,但同时又普遍存在着公共服务能力不强、公共产品和服务数量不多、质量不高、种类不丰富的现象。为此,我国博物馆应转变观念,确立以知识文化传播(教育)和公共服务为经营目标的新理念;提升常设展览的展示水平,开展丰富多彩的特展活动,推动展教一体化;建立健全的博物馆绩效评价体系,建立博物馆经营绩效评估制度及年度汇报制度,多措并举增强公共服务能力。
While museums in China have been growing rapidly with prosperous results achieved, the concern of their ability to provide public service has been raised given the short of number, quality, and vari- ety of products and services they are providing. Multiple measures are suggested to be taken to improve mu- seums' ability to provide public service, which include: to adopt new ideas of operation targeting at knowl- edge and culture dissemination (education) and public service, to improve the quality of permanent exhibi- tions and develop diversified special exhibitions with the aim to integrate exhibitions and education, and to establish and improve performance evaluation schemes, for example, to set up the annual evaluation and re- porting systems for the museum' s operational performance.
