Culture has an important impact on the emotional experience and symptoms expression of mental illness. Culture not only restricts the emotional "performance rules" and the practice of the body, but also regulate the universal emotional expression model which the community would accept. Patients are more likely to experience and show psychological or physical symptoms in the treatment, which is due to not only the embodiment of the patient's cultural background, but also the patient's own medical structure and medical system awareness, in the mass communication Media and daily life used in the diagnostic category and the concept of disease reflection. Therefore. people involved in mental illness-related work should pay more attention to the differences between cultures and explore different cultures resources to make up for the lack of traditional psychiatric treatment.
