澳大利亚丘比—可隆其铁铜矿矿床地质特征及找矿标志

Geological Characteristics and Prospecting Indicators of Quamby-Clonagh Fe-Cu Deposit in Australia

摘要 澳大利亚丘比—可隆其铁铜矿床位于芒特艾萨构造窗的东部褶皱带内。结合该矿区地质工作成果,分析了区域成矿地质背景、矿区及矿床地质特征,并讨论了矿床成因及找矿前景。研究表明:(1)矿体主要赋存于中—基性侵入岩岩体内,赋矿岩石由钠长石、角闪石、黑云母及绿泥石组成,钠长石、赤铁矿与矿化关系密切;(2)矿区西部出露的晚古生代Naraku岩体为矿床的形成提供了热源及含矿热液流体,近SN向及NW向断裂构造推动了热液流体的运移及含矿流体的沉淀富集,属铁氧化物铜金(Iron oxide copper gold,IOCG)型铁铜矿床;(3)通过对矿区内矿(岩)体物理参数的测定及物探工程揭露,确定高磁性、低电阻率的4#异常为有利的找矿靶区,并与控矿构造、赋矿岩浆岩、围岩蚀变一并构成矿床的重要找矿标志。 Quamby-Clonagh iron-copper deposit in Australia is located in the eastern folding belt of Mount Lsa tectonic window. Based on the working results of the mining area, the regional geological back- ground, the geological characteristics of the mining area and deposits are analyzed in detail, besides that, the deposit and prospecting potential of the mining area are also studied in depth. The study results show that :(1)the ore-bodies are mainly occurred in intermediate-mafic intrusions, the ore-hosting rocks are composed by albite, hornblende, biotite and chlorite, among them, the albite and hematite are closely related to mineralization ;(2)the hot source and ore-bearing hydrothermal fluid of the deposits are provided by the Naraku rock mass, the migration and precipitation-preconcentration of the ore-bearing hydrothermal fluid are promoted by the fault structures which trending near SN and NW directions, the Quamby-Clonagh Fe- Cu deposit genesis is belongs to the IOCG (Iron oxide copper gold) type Fe-Cu deposit;(3)through the test and analysis of ore (rock) physical parameters and conducting physical engineering reveal work, the 4# geophysical anomaly characterized by high magnetic and low resistivity is taken as the favorable prospecting target area in the mining area, and it is also one of the significant prospecting indicators ( geophysical anomaly, ore-controlling structure, ore-bearing magmatic rock and wall-rock alteration) in the mining area. The above analysis results relate to the geological characteristics and prospecting indicators of Quam- by-Clonagh Fe-Cu deposit can provide some reference for the further prospecting and exploration works of the similar deposits in the country.
