长征中红军开展了卓有成效的思想政治工作,为长征的胜利提供了坚强有力的精神动力和思想保障,同时也为新时期军队思想政治工作留下了宝贵的历史经验和启示:一是越形势复杂时期,越应该加强军队思想政治工作;二是军队思想政治工作必须加强党的领导;三是军队思想政治工作必须把战斗精神培育放在重要位置;四是军队思想政治工作成效依赖于党员领导干部的以身作则;五是处理好与人民群众的关系始终是军队思想政治工作的重要一环。

The Red Army has carried out effective ideological and political work during the Long March. Such work not only provided strong spiritual power and ideological guarantee for the Red Army who got the victory at the end of the Long March, but also left valuable historical experience and enlightenments for military ideological and political work in the new period. Firstly, the army＇ s ideological and political work must be firmer with the more complex situation. Secondly, the leadership of the Party should be reinforced. Thirdly, the cultivation for fighting spirit should be the top priority in the army＇ s ideological and political work. Fourthly, the effectiveness of military ideological and political work depends on the role model of Party cadres. Last but not least, the relationship with people is the most import section in army＇ s ideological and political work.
