列举肉桂、诃黎勒、羚羊角、黄连4味药物在明代《普济方》脾胃病证中的特殊功用,即肉桂温中下气、散结利气,诃黎勒行气化痰止泻,羚羊角通降清热,黄连泄热止泻,拓展了脾胃病临床治疗与实验研究的思路。

This paper lists special function of drugs （ Cortex Cinnamomi, Fructus Chebulae, Cornu Saigae Tataricae, Rhizoma Coptidis） for spleen and stomach disease and syndrome in Prescriptions for Universal Relief（ Puji Fang）, including Cortex Cinnamomi with effects of wanning spleen and stomach for descending qi and Tesolving masses for regulating qi-flowing, Fructus Chebulae with effects of activating qi and removing phlegm for anti-diarrhea, Cornu Saigae Tataricae with effects of regulating and descending adverse qi and clearing heat, Rhizoma Coptidis with effects of discharging heat for anti-diarrhea, which expands the ideas in the clinical treatment and experimental research of spleen and stomach diseases.
