Discussion on Experience in Treating Gastric Carbuncle in “Lin Zheng Yi De Fang”

探讨朱费元《临证一得方》治胃疽经验。对于胃疽的病机,朱费元在火毒炽盛的基础上,更重视气滞血瘀痰阻的病机;治疗上,重视内治之法,强调理气活血的重要性;用药方面,常常甘寒、咸寒、苦寒之品同用,又有所侧重,尤喜用甘寒清热、咸寒消肿,并善用理气活血之品。

This paper discussed Zhu Feiyuan＇ s experience in treating gastric carbuncle in ＂Lin Zheng Yi De Fang＂. For pathogenesis,Zhu Feiyuan pays more attention to qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm obstruction based on exuberance of toxic fire. For treatment, he pays attention to internal treatment and emphasizes the importance of regulating qi-flowing and promoting blood circulation. For medication, he often selects products of sweet-cold, salty-cold, bitter-cold for combination use but with different focus. He prefers sweet-cold drugs for clearing heat and salty-cold drugs for detumescence, and makes good use of drugs with effects of regulating qi-flowing and promoting blood circulation.
