摘要
使一批大学和一批学科达到或接近世界一流水平,是未来一段时期内我国高等教育发展改革的重大主题。大学教师体面劳动是实现"双一流"建设总体目标的重要基石。由于制度性不信任,当前大学教师体面劳动感低下,集中体现在薪酬偏低且同工不同酬、忽视学生学习主体责任、以复制率检测代替同行评议、科研经费报销有罪推定等。"双一流"建设中,应坚持"以劳动者为本"理念,以制度信任为基础,保证教师在薪酬、教学评价、学术评价、科研经费管理等方面获得充分的尊严体验。
We are now carrying out an ambitious transformation of the higher education system in China so as to build world-class universities and first-class disciplines. To fulfill this target,first of all,it is necessary for us to ensure college teaching remains a decent job for the faculty,which offers a high degree of autonomy and provides good pay and benefits at the same time. Nevertheless,due to the lack of trust between the faculty and the institution,most college teachers today are underpaid and overworked,suffering undeserved blame for our failing education system. They are not longer trustworthy and respectable academics but knowledge workers,who are often presumed guilty in research misconduct allegations,and need to be evaluated by a plagiarism checker rather than through rigorous peer review. To fulfill the target of building world-class universities and first-class disciplines in China,we should reestablish institutional trust on campus by adopting a human-centered approach in academic administration,and ensure that college teachers will be treated with dignity and respect they deserve.
