The Phenomenons of Building Temples and Taoist Temples in the Blessing Activities of the Royal Household in Tang Dynasty

唐代皇室的追福活动中不仅有大量建造寺庙的行为,还出现了造立道观的现象,追福对象也不局限于为追福者父母之属,推而广至夫妻之类,甚至为宠信之功臣,因此唐代皇室在追福活动中建寺立观的情况也更加复杂。唐代皇室追福活动之动机也不仅仅因信教而为亲人追福超度,有些追福活动掺杂有政治寓意,并被运用到政治斗争中,甚至能够从中看出某些人物的政治倾向与政治图谋。

The blessing activities of the royal household in Tang Dynasty not only included building temples but also Taoist temples. There had extended the object of the blessing activities from the parents to couples and even to favorite of the Emperor and in consequence the situations of the royal＇ s blessing in Tang Dynasty were complicated. Not just the blessing motivations of the royal in Tang Dynasty included blessing the relatives in religious but the political reasons, and the activities had been used to political struggle, even that there could be seen the political orientation and political scheme in those activities.
