内燃机模拟计算是一种现代化的计算方法 ,可以减少试验次数及时间 ,从而节约内燃机开发和研究工作的人力、物力和财力 AVLBOOST是对发动机性能进行预测的模拟软件 ,本文介绍了AVLBOOST软件的功能及所应用的领域 ,并应用该软件建立YD480型直喷式柴油机工作过程模型 ,通过必要的参数估算和软件调试 ,对YD480型直喷式柴油机的性能进行了模拟计算 结果表明模拟计算值与实测值是吻合的 。

Computer simulation of internal combustion engine is a modern calculation method. It can reduce the test times and duration, and save the manpower, materials cost and financial resources in the study of internal combustion engine. AVL BOOST is a simulated software to predict the performance of the engine. This paper introduces the function of AVL BOOST and its applications, and describes a working model for a diesel engine with the software. Through estimating necessary parameters and debugging the software, the performance of YD480 direct injection diesel engine was calculated. The results show the correspondence of the calculated values with testing values, which provides basis for further improvement of the diesel engine.
