高尚的人格,深邃的学养——钱中文先生20世纪80年代的学术通信

Noble Personality, Deep Academic Accomplishment:My Communication with Qian Zhongwen in the 1980s

20世纪80年代,通过投稿请教的关系,笔者与钱中文先生展开了六年的学术通信。钱先生在极为繁忙的工作中拨冗为笔者看稿改稿,为人生发展出谋划策,不仅提高了笔者论文写作能力,引导笔者进入文艺美学殿堂,而且促使笔者奋发努力,从一个普通的中学教师考上了名校名师的研究生。钱先生的无私扶持所体现的崇高人格,为今天学界的导师树立了典范;钱先生给笔者的诸多指教,对今天从事文艺美学研究的年轻学子也不无参考意义。

In the 1980s, Mr. Qian Zhongwen and I had a six-year academic communication. He spent a lot of time checking and reviewing my manuscripts regardless of his heavy schedule. Thanks to him, I have greatly improved my writing skills, and more importantly, have been guided into the hall of literary aesthet- ics. With his encouragement, I worked so hard that I was admitted to the prestigious graduate school from an ordinary secondary school teacher. Mr. Qian＇s noble personality sets a precious example for academic mentots today. The indefatigable advice he gave to me is also useful to those young students engaged in literary aesthetics.
