重构女性主体性——拜厄特笔下的三位女艺术家

摘要 在人类社会的漫长历史中,男性不光主导政治经济,而且统治艺术界。争取自由和独立的女性知识分子特别是女艺术家艰难跋涉,凭借心中坚定的信念和手中智慧的武器不断挑战男权话语。英国作家A.S.拜厄特在其小说《占有》和《孩子们的书》中颠覆传统的性别角色,猛烈抨击了男性中心主义文化。对小说中三位女艺术家主体意识和重构主体性的过程加以研究,有助于探索如何实现女性在艺术领域拥有和男性一样的机会,进而促进两性平等和谐发展。 In the long history of human society, males are dominant in not only politics and economy but also arts. Female intellectuals, especially female artists, striving for freedom and independence, continuously challenge the patriarchal discourse with their firm beliefs and wise weapons. British writer A. S. Byatt subverts traditional patriarchal women's images in her novels, namely, Possession and The Children's Book, thus criticizing the male-centric culture. Probing into the reconstruction of female artists' subjectivity and their consciousness of subject will be conducive to the realization of the equality between men and women in artistic area as well as other fields.
