"9·11"袭击事件对美国人而言是沉痛的,不仅造成了大量的人员伤亡,而且改变了受害者及其家人的生活,给他们带来了严重的创伤。美国当代作家唐·德里罗的小说《坠落的人》描述了受害者及其家庭的灾后生活,反映了这场灾难给人们带来的创伤与影响。本文运用创伤理论对《坠落的人》进行研究,分析恐怖袭击给人们带来的精神创伤与文化创伤。
The 9/11 attack was a tragedy for Americans. It not only caused injuries and deaths but also changed many things in their life. Don DeLillo's Falling Man depicts the victims' life after the attack. It reflects the trauma and effects of this disaster on the victims. This paper plans to analyze the psychic trauma and cultural trauma of the characters in the novel. The writer hopes to help trauma victims to heal from traumatic effects.
