Computer protection devices possess the functions of current measurement, voltage measurement and phase measurement. Taking on-load testing method with computer protection as an example, the advantages of on-load testing with computer protection and the necessities that the operators in power station grasp this method are elaborated. The on-load testing methods and field trouble-shooting ways are analyzed.
