Innovating the Teaching Reform in the Course of Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis with the Spirit of "Xi's Important Speech"

习近平在全国高校思想政治工作会议上指出:"高校是党领导下的高校,是中国特色社会主义的高校。"《思想道德修养与法律基础》是所有高校必修的一门思想政治课,高职院校如何贯彻"重要讲话",必须在"贯穿"上抓落实,依"本"不唯"本",将党的十八大以来的新思想新理论成果融入教材、进课堂、化人育心。

In the National Conference on Ideological and political work in Colleges and Universities, Xi Jinping instructed that 'Colleges and universities should operate under the leadership of the Party and stick to the socialism with Chinese characteristics.' The course of Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis is a required ideological and political course in all colleges and universities. To implement 'Xi's Important Speech' in vocational colleges we must follow Xi's Speech throughout the course, making it the core of the course but not the exclusive one. We should also blend the new thoughts and new theories based on the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC into the textbooks and the classroom so as to educate the students and cast their minds accordingly.
