论清朝福建籍官员在台湾的突出政绩及成因

Outstanding Achievements of Officials of Fujian Descent in Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty and Relevant Causes

清朝政府在台湾行使主权期间,福建籍许多英雄豪杰奉朝廷之命到台湾任职,他们在抗击外来侵略,捍卫国家主权;平定内乱,稳定社会;勤奋理事,正确执政;兴办学校,培养人才;著书立说,弘扬祖国文化诸多方面,做出了卓越成就。奋起反抗外国侵略者的侵略与压迫、福建省为大陆距离台湾地理位置最近的省份、具有科举功名及丰富的仕途经验、清朝廷在台湾实行特殊的任官制度等,是福建籍官员在台湾做出突出政绩的四个主要原因。

During the period of the Qing government in the exercise of sovereignty in Taiwan,many heroes of Fujian descent were appointed to serve in Taiwan,who made great contributions in such aspects as fighting against foreign aggression to defend national sovereignty,suppressing civil strife to maintain social stability,making efforts to take charge of government affairs by rule and line,setting up schools to cultivate talents,and encouraging publishing and establishing one’s own theory to carry forward the national culture as well.The reasons why the officials of Fujian descent made outstanding achievements are as follows:firstly,they fought against the invasion and oppression of foreign invaders;secondly,Fujian province is the closest province to Taiwan from the mainland;thirdly,they had abundant experience of official fame and career;finally,the Qing government implemented a special official system.
