翻译测试的构念与评分研究——以非英语专业大学生为测试对象

On the Construct and Assessment of Translation Testing——The Test Object for Non-English Major College Students

本文首先综述了国内外关于翻译能力构成模式的研究,然后分析和比较了目前翻译测试中三种评分方法及其优缺点,重点阐述了笔者认为最科学的测试方法、评分方法。本文认为翻译测试评分标准的制定必须落实到翻译测试的构念中,标准的制定者需对翻译能力进行分解和细化并要具体对应到某项评分标准,才能保证测试的科学性。笔者最后提出了针对非英语专业大学生翻译测试的建议。

The key to scientific translation testing is clarification of the construct of translation testingtranslation competence. This paper starts with an overview of different translation competence models at home and abroad, and proceeds to analyze and compare some rating approaches of current translation assessment. It explains a scientific translation competence model and a proper rating approach. It is claimed that translation criteria should be closely associated with translation competence. Specifically, criteria-setters need to divide translation competence into assessable components and then correlate them with exact rating scheme.
