On the basis of the cumulative epidemiological and experimental data, PM has been linked with atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary injury, the accelerated aging and even the elicited pulmonary cancers. In the recent years, the potential health hazards of small particles [2] including those of air pollutions, especially the inhalable PM, has caused great concerns from society and the seeking for preventive intervention strategies has been intensively focused.
