美术教育是一种极具个性化、创造性和欣赏性的活动,是审美教育的核心所在,已成为高校文化素质教育的重要内容之一。高校美术教育不仅是要传授美术理论与实践技能,更重要的是完成对大学生审美能力的培养,进而达到促进大学生审美感受力的发展和审美能力的提升目的。这个过程必须要摒弃非艺术化、功利化的禁锢,突出美术教育的审美教育功能,激发大学生对客观世界想象、探索与创造的欲望,更好的提升他们对事物客观的直觉把握和本质领悟。

Art education is a kind of activity which is highly personalized, creative and appreciative. It is the core of aesthetic education. The university art education is not only to impart art theory and practice skills, more important is to train the students＇ aesthetic ability, in order to promote college students＇ aesthetic sensibility and aesthetic ability to develop. This process must abandon the imprisonment non art and utilitarian, aesthetic education function of outstanding art education, to stimulate the desire of exploration and creation of college students on the objective world of imagination, the better, improve the intuition and understanding of the nature of their objective things.
