Its publication boasts a certain academic signifi- cance. This book conforms to the theory of language teaching in the post-method era, and advocates that teachers should adopt some teaching idea or teaching method actively and become an explorer and practitioner of language teaching. This paper summarizes the main innovation, academic value and so- cial influence of this teaching material, and puts forward its own viewpoints on the development of case teaching.
