摘要
吟颂和沙画是印第安传统文化的代表,是部落特殊语言符号的表征,在典仪过程中具有举足轻重的作用。研究借助认知语言学跨空间理论的靶域构形和源靶域构形,发现小说《典仪》中的吟颂和沙画在印第安叙事语篇中具有切换时空、转移人物聚焦的语篇构建功能。
Chanting and sand paintings are representatives of Indian traditional culture. As the special linguistic symbols, they play an important role in rituals. This study, based on target domain and source domain in the cog-nitive linguistics,found that chanting and sand paintings in the Ceremony construct discourses in terms of switc-hing time - space and character focus in Indian narrative discourses.
