Role-playing method is a kind of teaching method widely used in educational activities, which has been proved to be effective. The method is also adopted by many primary school language teachers in their daily teaching practice. This article firstly introduces the connotation, characteristics and functions of the method and then analyzes the concrete application of the method in primary school language reading instruction in detail.
