Shao Quanlin and His Wife's Revolutionary Culture Activities in Longquan

1937年11月至1938年10月,邵荃麟葛琴夫妇在龙泉期间,为开辟浙南抗日救亡运动,开展了大量的革命文化活动。他们参与领导和组织龙泉的各种抗日组织和宣传队伍,开办革命刊物,开展抗日戏剧宣传,积极从事文学创作活动,鼓励、开发、培植有文学才华的年轻人写作,为抗战服务,利用演讲、办学堂、讲课等方式宣传党的抗战政策与革命道理,产生了巨大的积极影响。

Shao Quanlin and his wife Ge Qin carried out a large number of revolutionary culture activities for anti-Japaness Salvation Movement during their stay in Longquan from Nov, 1937 to Oct, 1938. They were involved in leading and organizing various social groups for arousing local residents through a series of culture activities such as publishing revolutionary periodicals, staging anti-Japanese dramas. They were actively engaged in literary creation, inspiring and nurturing young people with literary talent so as to better serve the anti-invasion efforts. They exerted great positive impact on local residents by disseminating the policies of CPC as well as the revolutionary truth through delivering speeches, setting up schools and giving lectures.
