The effects of contemporary literature reading and education as revealed in My Predestined Love for Literature include： broadening people＇s horizon, enhancing their willpower, perfecting their attainments and subliming their spiritual realm; exerting great influence on people＇ view of world, outlook on life, values, sentiment, morality, personality and aesthetic ideas; facilitating the development of people＇s reading ability, writing ability, communicative competence, and creative ability. Therefore, it is necessary to intensify literature reading and education in all phases of education including pre-school, primary, secondary, and higher education, and even promote it among non-literature majors. In effect, literature confidence is a source of cultural confidence. A better atmosphere is needed to develop in more people the love for literature.
