The ancient Greek gods play important roles in Aeschylus' tragedy, The Eumenides, which clarifies gods' actions instead of the thoughts. In the trial of Orestes' matricide case, all behind the ancient Greek gods' actions are different profits. Some gods try to balance the relationship between gods and human, some want to protect the remnants of matriarchal society, others suppose to make democratic laws instead of traditional rules.
