摘要
首先从形式、用法和数量上对英汉标点符号进行了对比分析,然后基于标点的三种功能,从英汉互译的角度出发,探讨出"对等移植、必要改换、适当增减、意译成字"十六字标点翻译策略。
From the perspectives of their forms, numbers and functions, English and Chinese punctuation marks are compared and analyzed in this article. And after that, on the basis of three functions of punctuation, the four translating strategies ＂translating figuratively;changing necessarily;adding and omitting properly;and converting liberally into words＂ are put forward.
