民国时期中华图书馆协会图书出版概述

An Overview of Book Publishing of the Library Association of China in the Period of Republic of China

中华图书馆协会是中国现代图书馆专业学术团体,在民国时期的图书馆事业发展和学术研究中起到了推动作用。组织编辑出版与图书馆发展相关的出版物是协会的一项重要工作。除编辑出版《会报》和《季刊》外,还组织策划、编辑出版了一系列图书,包括策划出版"中华图书馆协会丛书",倡导编制索引和书目,策划出版论文集,整理年会报告、图书馆调查表和国际图书馆合作指南,出版《季刊》和《会报》抽印本。协会出版图书的内容既有对传统文献目录的整理,近现代以来研究论文索引的编制,也有对国外图书馆实用书籍的翻译和中国图书馆事业发展状况的介绍和总结,展现了传统文献目录学与现代图书馆学发展的脉络,以及图书馆学中西融合的特征。

The Library Association of China was a professional academic group of modern libraries in China, which played a catalytic role in the development of libraries and academic research in the period of the Republic of China. It was an important job of Library Association of China to edit and publish publication related to library development. In addition to Bulletin of the Library Association of China and Library Science Quarterly, the Association planned, edited and published many books, included Library Association of China Series＂. It advocated compiling index and bibliography, planned and published collection of papers, organized annual meeting reports, library questionnaires and international library collaboration guides, published off prints of Bulletin and Quarterly. The content of these books included not only the arrangements of traditional bibliography, the organization of modem paper indexing; but also the translations of foreign library＇s practical books and the introduction and summary of Chinese library development status, which embodied the traditional inheritance and the cultural exchange between China and Western society.
