我国英语专业教育的问题及对策思考

On the problems in the current English major education in China and their countermeasures

本文在简述我国外语教育主要成就的基础上,着重分析了当前英语专业教育中的突出问题,包括人才培养规格单一、课程体系支撑乏力、语言和专业融合型师资匮乏、教学资源不足、评估体系不够完善、中国特色研究欠缺等,并针对这些问题提出了相应对策和建议。

On the basis of briefing the major achievements of foreign language education in China, this paper points out the outstanding problems in the current English major education, which include unitary talent standards, incomplete curricula, shortage of teachers mastering both language and other specialties, lack in teaching resources, deficiency of the assessment system, and insufficient research with Chinese characteristics. To address these problems, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions accordingly.
