The Pragmatic Functions of Discourse Marker “Guantade” and Its Related Issues

"管他的"在现代汉语中可作为话语标记,属于主观范畴。话语标记"管他的"的语用功能可划分为以下几种类型:篇章衔接功能;主观表态功能;规劝功能。话语标记"管他的"句法位置灵活,可位于新话轮的首端、中间和末尾,在语形上存在多种变体。"管我的"和"管你的"是"管他的"的一种条件变体,所需语境及语用功能也有所不同。"管他的"是由谓词性短语演变而来,与语义冗余和语用经济性有直接关系,其管界也逐渐扩大。

＂ Guantade＂ can be used as a discourse marker in modem Chinese, and belongs to subjective category. Its pragmatic functions can be divided into the following several types ： text cohesion function; subjective attitudinal function ; function of persuasion. And it＇s syntactic position is flexible at the start, in the middle and at the end of sentence, with several variants in the form. ＂Guanwode＂ and ＂Guannide＂ are conditioned variants of ＂Guantade＂, and their context and pragmatic functions are also different. The discourse marker ＂Guantade＂ is the evolution of a predicate phrase, which is directly related to the semantic redundancy and pragmatic economical efficiency. The boundary is also gradually expanding.
