In Neuromaneer, Willian Gibson depicts the postmodern world, a late capitalist society, where technology and mate- rial spread all over. When highlighting the posthuman culture, the author applies the ＂materialistic＂ Narration. By describing a se- ries of changes caused by material in terms of cityscape, consumer culture and aesthetic perspective, the author reveals the material and spiritual cultural identity of posthumanity, as well as reflects the mutually dependent and entangled relationship between human and material in postmodern society.
