Study on Stting up Day Ward in a Cancer Hospital

目的通过分析肿瘤专科医院日间病房工作数据,讨论存在问题并提出政策建议,力求为卫生行政部门推行日间病房模式提供理论和实践支持。方法利用医院HIS系统及病案管理系统,建立日间病房病例数据信息库并进行数据分析。结果 2013年至2015年,日间病房共收治住院患者18966例,其中化疗患者占84.4%,医疗纠纷数为0,患者满意度居于医院各临床科室前列。2015年,日间病房的建立使医院的平均住院日缩短了13.5%(0.8天),住院次均费用降低了10.7%(2725.8元)。结论肿瘤专科医院开展日间病房工作,可以提高医院运行效率,降低患者住院次均费用,在一定程度上解决肿瘤患者"住院难"、"住院贵"的问题,符合国家政策要求,已为大势所趋。

Objective To discuss existing problems of day ward in a cancer hospital based on data of day-care ward and to put forward suggestions for policy making, so as to provide theoretic and practical support for health administrative departments in promoting day-care ward. Method Established case information database of day-care ward using hospital HIS system and medical record management system, and analyzed the data. Result From 2013 to 2015, day-care ward received 18966 inpatients, of which 84.4% were patients receiving chemotherapy. There was no medical dispute, and patient satisfaction scored in the forefront of all clinical departments of the hospital. In 2015, day-care ward shortened the average length of stay by 13.5%（0.8 days） and reduced the average hospitalization cost per stay by 10.7%（2725.8 yuan）. Conclusion Day-care ward in the cancer hospital helped improve operational efficiency and reduce the average hospitalization cost for patients. To some extent, it made it easier for cancer patients to be hospitalized and lessened their financial burden. Day-care ward met national policy requirements and would become the general trend in cancer hospitals.
