Objective To observe the effect of ketamine on adverse reaction in MECT treatment. Methods 102 cases of MECT treated in our hospital from June 2014 to June 2016 were selected,,50 cases were randomly selected as the observation group, ketamine anesthesia was used in the treatment, and the remaining 52 cases as the control group, the respiratory recovery time, the recovery time of consciousness, the recovery time of directional force, the energy index and the incidence of adverse reactions were observed in the two groups. Results Two groups of patients with respiratory recovery time, recovery time, recovery time of orientation differences, there was no statistical significance( P〈0. 05); the observation group seizure energy index and the incidence of adverse reaction was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant( P〈0. 05). Conclusion In the treatment of MECT,the anesthetic effect of ketamine is similar to that of propofol, but it has less adverse reactions and higher safety.
