The Qualities of Principal's Leadership in the Age of Key Competencies

摘要 "核心素养"是当前国家倡导和教育学术研究的"热词",其核心特征可以由8个关键词来解读:复杂情境、实在问题、自主应对、具体方案、关键能力、综合表现、价值优先和教化养成。"素养时代"赋予中国校长以新的使命担当。为培育学生核心素养的生成,校长应当具有弘扬人道、追求真善美的价值领导力,统整学习资源、满足多样成长需求的课程领导力,以及高效调配教育资源和解决学校发展问题的组织领导力。 Key Competency was a key word advocated by modem China govemment and chased by the current research in Ed- ucational field, which could be understood further from the following eight perspectives: complex situations, real problems, indepen- dent solution, targeted measures, critical skills, integrative performances, oriented virtues and gradual cultivation. In the age of key competencies, for the developments of students' key competencies, the principals in China should take the new responsibilities: value guiding capability for promoting humanism and pursuit of truth, kindness and beauty; curriculum design capability in top-level for meeting the various individual' s growth needs; also the school management capability for assigning education resources and dealing with the problems hindering the development of the school effectively.
