从关联理论看毛泽东诗词中文化负载词的翻译

On Translation of Cultural-loaded Words in Mao's Poems from the Perspective of Relevance Theory

毛泽东诗词是中国现代文学史上的一颗璀璨明星。他的诗词都用古典的中国格律诗体写就,具有很高的研究价值。毛诗词中的文化负载词是中华民族思想文化的结晶。本文从关联翻译理论的视角来研究毛诗词中文化负载词的翻译。根据关联理论,文化负载词翻译是一种跨文化交际活动,也是一个认知-推理的过程,译者应充分考虑原文作者的交际意图和译文读者的认知环境等因素,灵活采用不同的翻译策略,选择具有最佳关联性的译文,努力实现原文作者的意图与译文读者的期盼相吻合。

Mao Zedong＇s poetry is a shining star in the history of modem Chinese literature. His poems are written in the style of classical metrical verse, and have very high value of research. The cultural-loaded words in Mao＇s poems are the crystallization of Chinese culture. This paper studies the translation of cultural-loaded words in Mao＇s poems from the perspective of relevance transla- tion theory. According to relevance theory, translation of culture-loaded words is a kind of cross-cultural communication as well as a cognitive-inferential process. Therefore, the translator should fully consider the original author＇ s communicative intention, target readers＇ cognitive environment and other factors, adopting different translation strategies, choosing optimal relevance in translation. The translator strives to interpret the original author＇ s intention in accordance with target readers＇ expectation.
