The development process of public bicycles at home and abroad is described brielly in this paper. The building history , scale , distribution, system technology and operations management oflaiyuan public bicycles are also investigated. The corresponding suggestions are raised to solve the actual problems. To provide a basis for the constructions and forward objects of public bicycles in small and medium- sized cities in the future.
