In recent years, the social and economic development rapidly in China, people＇s living standards become higher, transportation and travel more convenient. This developmant is inseparable from China＇s construction industry and the development of transportation, in which the bridge is an important link. This paper analyzes the development of external pre-stressed technology, pointes out its application status in municipal bridge consolidation, hope to provide help to related technical workers.
