语域理论是英国语言学家韩礼德提出的,从这一视角分析文学作品中的语言,可以帮助读者更好地理解作者的写作意图,了解作品中的人物形象。分析语域理论的内涵及其与文学作品的联系,介绍狄更斯的《雾都孤儿》,然后从语域理论角度分析了《雾都孤儿》语言特点和《雾都孤儿》中的语域艺术效果。

The register theory is proposed by Halliday. The analysis of literary works from the perspective of lan- guage can help readers have a better understanding of the writer＇s intention and the characters of the works. This study first analyzed the connotation of register theory, and the links with literary works, then introduced Dickens＇s Oliver, and then analyzed the linguistic features from the perspective of register theory and the artistic effect of reg- ister from Oliver Twist.
