石家庄解放前,戏剧初步兴起,艺人生活困顿,解放后,市政府接收了各类戏剧演出团体和演艺场所,改善艺人生活,建立健全领导机构,改造新建戏剧班社,使石家庄的戏剧得到了很快的恢复和发展。在戏剧的恢复发展过程中,明确服务对象、反映实际生活、大胆改革创新等经验对于当今中国的戏剧改革与发展有着借鉴意义。

Actors and actresses live a poor life in Shijiazhuang before liberation, while after liberation, the city government takes care of all theatrical groups and places for performance, and establishes the lead- ership and transforms the drama groups. In the process of the restoration and development of the drama, actors and actresses clarify the nature of customers, create and perform realistic plays, thus pushing for- ward the reform and development of the new plays in China.
