The ancient Chinese is no longer an optional course in universities owing to a craze for clas- sic Chinese culture. The writer of this paper explores over the cultural implications of this course in relation to the Chinese characters, vocabulary and anthology. Moreover, this paper discusses the value and function of cultural factors in terms of linguistics, traditional culture and students.
