Syntactic functions of the psychological verbs in Liezi

《列子》中心理动词与其他类动词相比有独特的句法功能和特征。采用定性定量的方法对心理动词句法功能描写并进行相应的数量统计,探讨心理动词句法语义地位。对心理动词的一般语法功能进行优选序列描写,并从认知角度解释心理动词作主语、宾语的原因。心理动词作谓语时,分析其状语用词的频次、用词类型和句法位置,发现其状语类型比较丰富,没有出现介宾词组构成的状语,也就没有状语后置情况。

Psychological verbs have peculiar syntactic and semantic functions. A research is done with qualitative and quantitative methods. In addition, optimal theory is applied to the descriptive and grammati- cal functions of psychological verbs when they are used as cognitive subjects and objects. It is found that when a psychological verb is used as predicate, its adverbial type takes adverbs, auxiliary verbs and adjec- tives, but no prepositional adverbial or adverbial in the post position.
