流媒体转发服务器在远程教育中的实现研究

The research of implementation of the streaming media forwarding server applied in the distance education

现代远程教育已经普遍采用流媒体技术,但是流媒体在远程教育实践中遇到的一个主要问题就是流媒体服务器的性能瓶颈。为了解决这个问题,本文引入了流媒体转发服务器,介绍了流媒体转发服务器的实现方案并进行了实际的测试。结果表明,引入流媒体转发服务器之后的流媒体负载均衡集群能够很好地满足大规模远程教育的实际需求。

Streaming media technology has been generally applyed in the modern distance education practices. However,the performance bottleneck of the streaming media server is always a major problem. In order to solve this problem,the streaming media forwarding server is introduced,also the implementation method of the streaming media server and the releated test result are presented. The result shows that the load balancing cluster of the streaming media forwarding servers could meet the need of the large scale distance education very well.
