重新语境化视角下合法化话语策略研究——以《华盛顿邮报》有关美联储救市政策的新闻报道为例

A STUDY ON DISCURSIVE LEGITIMATION STRATEGIES FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF RECONTEXTURALIZATION——Taking News Reports about the Federal Reserve's Bailout Policies in the Washington Post as an Example

重新语境化是实现语篇互文性的重要方式之一,反映了特定社会领域、社会实践网络及与之相关的语类使用语言的习俗。从重新语境化的角度对文本进行分析,能发现话语创造者如何运用各种话语策略,对可运用的话语和社会资源进行转换,使其适用于新的语境,达到语篇所要实现的目的。从重新语境化角度对美国次贷危机时期《华盛顿邮报》有关关联储救市政策的新闻报道语篇进行分析可发现,报道者往往凭借自身所具有的话语权,在对话语和社会实践进行重新语境化的过程中,运用"强调消息来源权威性"、"选择客观性转述动词"、"对特定主题内容加以转述"、"为社会实践添加特定元素"等话语策略,来实现对关联储救市政策的合法化。

Recontextualization, as one of the most important mechanisms to realize the intertextuality of texts, reflects discursive conventions of specific social fields, social practice networks and genres related to them. Analyzing texts from the perspective of recontextualization can reveal how different discursive strategies are used by discourse creators to transform available discursive and social resources in order to make them appropriate to the new context and thus achieve the goal of discourse. An analysis on news reports about the Federal Reserve＇s bailout policies during American subprime crisis from the perspective of recontextualization shows that news reporters relying on their power of discourse tend to use discursive strategies of ＂ emphasizing the authority of news sources＂ , ＂choosing objective reporting verbs＂ , ＂reporting contents of specific themes＂ and ＂ adding specific elements to social practices＂ when recontextualizing discourses and social practices, in order to legitimate the Federal Reserve＇s policies.
