摘要
2016年台湾地区领导人选举是一个重要的政治性事件,内地、香港及台湾的新闻媒体对此均高度关注。本文采用框架分析方法,并结合批判性话语分析,对香港《明报》这一阶段的报道进行研究,发现市场化的《明报》在报道台湾"大选"时注重客观性和均衡性,全面反映出台湾地区领导人选举进程;尽管其用各种框架选择和建构的方式来模糊倾向性,《明报》反对"台独"、维护两岸关系和平稳定发展的基本价值取向及立场还是从其新闻框架中隐现出来。
The 2016 Taiwan leader election is an important political event to which media from mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan all pay high attention. This paper makes a detailed study of the Ming Pao＇s related reports in that stage by using framing analysis and critical discourse analysis. Findings show that Ming Pao lays stress on the objectivity and equilibrium in the cover- age of the Taiwan ＂election＂, which, in fact, fully reflects the Taiwan leader electoral process. Despite its use of the various frame selections and the construction mode to obscure its preference, Ming Pao＇s basic value orientation and stand of ＂Anti Tai- wan Independence＂ and maintaining peace and stability in the development of cross-straits relations can be seen indistinctively from its news framework.
