Established on June 6, 2016, COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd.("COSCO SHIPPING Energy") is a specialized company engaging in energy shipment such as oil and gas, comprising China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited. Its predecessor is China Shipping Development Company Limited(01138K, 600026), headquartered Shanghai, the main subsidiaries include COSCO SHIPPING Tanker(Shanghai) Co., Ltd., COSCO SHIPPING Tanker(Dalian) Co., Ltd., China Shipping Group Gas Investment Co., Ltd., China Shipping Development(Hong Kong) Marine Co., Limited and China Shipping Development(Singapore) Marine Co., Limited. To June 6, 2017, COSCO SHIPPING Energy has operated 110 tanker vessels with a total shipping capacity of 16.98 million DWT and held an order of 15 tanker vessels with a total shipping capacity of 3.006 million DWT. It has operated 13 LNG vessels with a total shipping capacity of 2.079 million cubic meters and held an order of 21 LNG vessels with a total shipping capacity of 3.626 million cubic meters. The scale of shipment capacity for the tanker fleet of the Company ranked first globally with an average capacity of 154300 DWT and an average age of 7.7 years per ship. COSCO SHIPPING Energy has maintained good cooperative relationship with customers globally and the routes span across the world. The Company insists on the concept of "Intrinsically Safe and Safe Development", actively taking in the safety concept of DuP ont and fully implementing the TMSA system. Its domestic leading staff training center is equipped with advanced facilities and is wellknown in the industry. The five-in-one management system involving safety, quality, environment, energy and occupational health has been established. COSCO SHIPPING Energy is committed to being "the most respected and reliable provider for energy shipment services in the world". It will rely on the national strategy of "One Belt One Road" with the objective of global operation strategy to serve largescale petrochemical enterprises and strategic partners, thus provide the customers with quality services of all ship types, globalization and around the clock.
