凌云翰,号柘轩,提出并亲自实践"贵真重趣"的诗歌主张,在一定程度上为相对低靡的元末诗坛注入了新的活力。凌云翰诗歌主张的形成原因极为复杂:一方面源于诗人的天性和师承,另一方面也和元末明初特殊的时局密切相关。凌云翰的诗歌主张和诗歌创作,得到了同时代诗友如杭州诗群代表诗人张昱、钱惟善等的认可,他们或与柘轩先生诗文唱和,或以实际创作来回应、支持柘轩先生的诗歌主张。凌云翰诗歌主张虽因明初专制统治而受到限制,但它却没有沦为歌功颂德的工具,这具有进步性。总的来看,它对元末明初诗坛是有其独特贡献的,它的价值理应重新得到评价。

The proposal that poetry should cherish the authentic and diverting emotion put forward and practiced by Ling Yunhan,to a certain extent, has injected new vitality into the poetty of the late Yuan dynasty .Thro can see the reasons for what he stands for are complicated. On the one hand, it stems from the nature of the poet and the succession of teachings from his master. On the other hand, it is closely associated with the special situation in late Yuan and early Ming. Ling？ s poetic proposal and poem got full support from poetry-friends in the same period, such as ZhangYu and Qian Weishan, the representatives of Hangzhou poetry circle. They respond to and support his poetry proposal with either responsory or actual creation.Ling＇ s proposal is limited by autocracy in early Ming Dynasty. However, it doesn＇t turn into the tool of singing the praises of merits, which has a historical progress. Generally speaking, Ling, s proposal makes a great contribution to poetry in late Yuan and early Ming ＇ Therefore, its value should be reevaluated.
