摘要
西方国家历来重视通识教育,其对学生逻辑素质的训练历史悠久。以两千多年前的"自由七艺"为发端,西方发展出以培养完整人格为目标的"博雅教育"。以美国为代表的欧美国家开展的批判性思维运动,将批判理念和反思精神渗透到了文化价值观念之中。与欧美相比,我国的自由教育思想可以追溯到儒家"六艺"。较之于"七艺","六艺"中显然缺少逻辑训练内容。这既是学科设置的差异,更体现了中西文化和思维方式的差距。就现代教育而言,我国素质教育改革近三十年已取得不小成就。相应地,国内逻辑教育也已获得长足进展。但不可否认,对于包括逻辑教育和批判性思维训练在内的通识教育改革,我们依然还有很多工作要做。
Western countries have always attached importance to general education, and their training on students' logical quality has a long history. More than two thousand years ago, "seven arts" was as the starting point of Western education. Later the West developed to cultivate a complete personality as the goal of "liberal education". The critical thinking movement of the European and American countries repre-sented by the United States penetrated the concept of criticism and reflection into the cultural values. Compared with Europe and the United States, China's liberal education can be traced back to the Confu- cian "six arts". Compared to the "seven arts", "six arts" is clearly short of logical training content. It is not only the difference between the discipline set, but also reflects the gap between Chinese and Western culture and way of thinking. In terms of modern education, China's quality education reform has made achievements in the past three decades. Correspondingly, domestic logical education has also made great progress. But it is undeniable that there is much to do for general education reform, including logical edu-cation and critical thinking training.
