The contemporary Christian literature based on the Christian faith has its own unique value, which should be respected by the academic circles in the meaning of “human discovery” and in respect of richness of “the concept of man”. The Contemporary Chinese Christian Literature and Cultural Construction in the New Century is a book which opens a series of literary propositions of human spirit pursuit and pays attention to the cultural refection and value reconstruction in the usual theme of theological perspective on literature, and in the implementation of continuation and the deepening of each topic literary writing. It has an important academic value from the perspective of human studies, across the boundaries of literature and culture, and between the Chinese traditional culture and the Western religious culture.
