Interpretation of the Culture of“He”[贺]and Construction of Human Ecology of“Xi”[锡]——The First Paper of the Series of Ecological Culture Research on Xiaohe Ancient Road

古人把"锡"称"贺",形成贺州独特的文化现象,2000多年来,贺州一直与"锡"有不解之缘,是一座因锡得名,因锡而兴的城市。分析"锡"文化内涵,从历史学角度对贺州"锡"文化进行解读,挖掘潇贺古道生态文化,为贺州在新的发展机遇中主动融入"一带一路"发展战略提供一定的理论依据。

In ancient time,＂He＂[ 贺 ] meant ＂Xi＂[ 锡 ] （tin）. The 2000-year history of Hezhou City has been tightly bound to ＂Xi＂[ 锡 ] （tin）. The name of Hezhou City originated from ＂Xi＂[ 锡 ] （tin）and Hezhou City is a city based upon tin. The main contents of the paper include the analysis of the cultural connotation of ＂Xi＂[ 锡 ] （tin）, the interpretation of the culture of ＂Xi＂[ 锡 ] （tin）in the history of Hezhou City and the exploitation of the ecological culture of Xiaohe Ancient Road. The significance of the research rests in two aspects：the reference function for the development of Hezhou City and the enforcement of the understanding of the ＂Belt and Road＂ development strategy.
