贺州瑶族民间手抄文献的“汉借字”

On “Loan Words from Chinese Characters” in Handwriting Documents among Yao Nationality in Hezhou

贺州瑶族使用本族语,没有文字。族内只有极个别识这些汉字的文化人。但在瑶山田野调查中,却不断发现民间收藏的手抄汉文本。经仔细研读,发现许多汉字与刻在其信物"情人棍"、"情人帕"等上面的文字相似,在歌谣、经书等手抄文献中也存在大量被故意"改造"的汉字,这极有可能是瑶族民间的书写记录符号。

In the fiehl study to the Yao groups,private collections of hand-copied Chinese texts are discovered continuously. After careful studies,similarities are found between the characters used in Yao＇s handwriting doeuments and those inscribed on the ＂lover stick＂ and ＂lover handkerchief＂＇. Similarly,in the handwriting documents of the folk songs and Taoist scriptures,there exist great amount of ＂Coinages＂ borrowed for Chinese characters. All this are probably the recording signs used by Yao nationality.
