Comparative Analysis on Universities' Disciplinary Competitiveness Based on InCites and ESI

高校学科竞争力是评价其科研、教学、师资能力水平的基本要素,是综合实力的集中体现。以In Cites、ESI数据库指标为基础工具,综合运用文献计量法、比较分析法等,对国内8所院校化学、工程、材料学科各项指标进行定性与定量分析。建立高校学科竞争力分析指标体系,从而更全面的、多维度的研究国内高校的学科竞争力情况。

Disciplinary competitiveness is the basic element to evaluate the scientific research, teaching and teachers＇ ability level of universties, and the embodiment of comprehensive strength. Based on the basic tools of InCites and ESI database indexes, this paper used bibliometric and comparative analysis methods to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on the indexes of chemistry, engineering, materials science disciplines in 8 colleges and universities, and established the disciplinary competitiveness evalution index system to make comprehensive and multi-dimensional study on the discipline competitiveness of domestic universities.
