唐五代诗格的发展与律诗发展紧密结合,从声律、对偶、句式、意象等方面建立起唐代律诗的规范。在丰富的创作外,唐代诗人试图用诗格这一形式将其对诗艺的探索理论化。这是一种自觉的艺术总结,不同于感性的审美体验,并且随着实践呈现出阶段化的发展。

The development of poetry style is closely integrated with the growth of the verse. And its rules are set up in the Tang Dynasty based on the rhythm, the antithesis, the syntactical structure and the imagery. Besides rich creations, poets in Tang tried to explore the poetic theory by the poetry style. This is a conscious conclusion of arts which is different from perceptual aesthetic experience and develops step by step along with the practice.
